As news of planned events to mark the Balfour Declaration centenary becomes available, they will be listed here with complete contact details and booking information.

We are expecting to see major public events in London, Manchester and either Glasgow or Edinburgh around the date of the Centenary (2nd November 2017).

Christian Friends of Israel and St Mary’s Church Cheadle are holding a film showing and exhibition to mark the centenary of the Balfour Declaration.

They are showing the film “The Forsaken Promise” about Britain’s failure to carry through the intent of the Balfour Declaration through the mandate given to her by the League of Nations.

8th – 10th September Shropshire. Foundations Conferences is holding a Friday to Sunday conference at Quinta Conference Centre, Weston Rhyn, Oswestry, Shropshire SY10 7LR

The speaker is Roy Thurley of the Balfour 100 working grouop and the cost for the weekend is £140

 Tuesday 7th Novemberrah_hall 7 November – The Royal Albert Hall – “Partners In This Great Enterprise”
This is a Christian-initiated event with both Christian and Jewish participation.

The Royal Albert Hall is a world class venue and a fitting place to celebrate the achievements of the Balfour Declaration. The title is taken from a speech by Lord Balfour in the royal Albert Hall in 1920 and refers to Britain and the Jewish people working together for a Jewish homeland in Palestine.
